## Writing

- [Caveman Had a Setting That Silently Did Nothing on Codex](https://vishalgurung.com.np/writing/caveman-had-a-setting-that-silently-did-nothing-on-codex/): Codex pasted its ruleset in as a literal string, so four separate ways of setting a mode went nowhere — including the one that turns Caveman off.
- [I Tried to Fix a Small Codex Auth Problem in Caveman](https://vishalgurung.com.np/writing/caveman-codex-auth-routing/): A routing bug, a declined proposal, and a second PR adopted whole — the difference was scope.
- [Hello👋🏻](https://vishalgurung.com.np/writing/hello/): Me, Myself and I

## Work

- [ACAP Video Encoder](https://vishalgurung.com.np/built/acap-video-encoder/): Turns a JPEG sequence already on the camera's SD card into an H.264 MP4 on the camera itself — no frame ever leaves the device. (C · FFmpeg · x264 · FastCGI · Axis ACAP · Docker · GitHub Actions · 2026)
- [SUTRA](https://vishalgurung.com.np/built/sutra/): An open-source tool-output compression layer that helps AI coding agents use less context without losing important information. (Python, TypeScript, MCP, AI Agents, CLI · 2026)
- [RealityMap](https://vishalgurung.com.np/built/reality-map/): Give it a project, see the architecture. Zero config, local-first, nothing uploaded. (TypeScript · 2025)
